A Message from A Real
Outreach of Real Professional Teacher & Champion 3/20/07
Through the years, I have
been blessed with friends who have tirelessly supported my
career as a professional latin dancer. On top of my list,
are Ms. Ruby Co, Ms. Josie Poon and Mrs. Marvie Yulo, who
believed in me and made it possible for me to realize my
dream to receive international acclaim in tandem with Mr.
Michael Mendoza, as the first gold medalists in latin
dance during the 2005 Southeast Asian Games.
With professional
recognition, however, comes professional responsibility.
It is for this reason that I have decided to conduct free dance
workshops for the children of my less fortunate neighbors,
in the hope that by doing so, these underprivileged yet
talented children can look forward to a much better
future.
My show, “STEP UP”
will showcase the talents under my tutelage and is geared
towards paying forward the generosity I have received from
my friends and sponsors. Proceeds of the show will go a
long way in defraying the costs of the basic needs of
these children for their dance workshops.
May you all enjoy the show and know in your hearts that
you have contributed to the welfare of the less fortunate.
